Draft notice. This document is awaiting independent legal review. The substantive description of the service in §1 and §2 is current as of the Phase 2A refactor; other sections remain template boilerplate pending counsel sign-off.
Important. CanadaPaths is a free information tool. It checks your profile against the published eligibility criteria of Canadian immigration programs and displays a factual list. It is not legal advice and does not create a consultant-client or solicitor-client relationship. CanadaPaths is not a law firm and its operators are not licensed Canadian immigration lawyers, Quebec notaries, or CICC-licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. For advice on your specific case, consult a licensed representative on the CICC public register or via your provincial law society.
1. Service description
CanadaPaths is a free information tool. It checks your submitted profile data against the published eligibility criteria of Canadian immigration programs in its catalog and presents three lists: programs whose published criteria your profile matches, programs where eligibility is unclear from your profile, and programs whose criteria you do not currently meet. The tool does not rank programs, does not produce a "fit" score, does not recommend a program, and does not predict outcomes.
2. Not legal advice
The eligibility-check outputs, program information pages, processing-time estimates, and Q&A responses provided by CanadaPaths are information only and are not legal advice. We make no guarantees about your eligibility, your application outcome, or the accuracy of any program-specific information.
3. Find a licensed representative
Under Canadian law, immigration advice for consideration may only be provided by licensed Canadian immigration lawyers, Quebec notaries, or CICC-licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. You can find a licensed consultant on the CICC public register: https://college-ic.ca/protecting-the-public/find-an-immigration-consultant.
